| Delhi's flat sold for Rs 8.5 cr |

In Delhi's Defence Colony in NCR area, an apartment was sold for Rs 8.5 crore bringing the average value of the property to approximately Rs 42,500 per square foot. The apartment is spread over 2,000 sq.ft (approximately). While the cost of this property is marginally higher than the average value of comparable property which is in the range between Rs 27,000 and Rs 40,000 per square foot, there are fewer properties for sale available in these locations which justify the premium commanded by the property.
Defence Colony is one of Delhi's most sought after areas on account of location, amenities and quality of properties that it offers. The location has seen stable capital values over the last year on account of low number of transactions. It is expected that the location and its neighbourhood will continue to see good interest from end-users as well as investors.
